My astrea snails spawned once shortly after I set up my tank. It made a complete mess of the tank. The snails all paired up in groups of 2-3 a some spewed eggs, others spearm. It never happened again though.

I now have Nassarius, cerith, turnbos, marginta, and a few astreas.

So the nassarius are the most likey egg layers?

Ike, what kind of snails do you have and did you see them lay the eggs?

Most photo on-line processing companies do not allow you to link to their photos (like in e-bay) as to reduce their traffic and bandwidth needs

Ernie, I have linked to photo's on photo.net before with no problem. I wonder if they have changed there policy? I went back and looked at other threads that I had linked too before and the images still show up.

Thanks for the offer to post my pictures. It is great that you can now post them directly to RDO with the file attachement feature. That will save allot of headaches for newbies and dummies! :roll: 8O

Yes I have watched them lay eggs. They are Nassarius snails.
