Does anyone know of a Home Depot that currently has Southdown in stock in Ohio or MI. It's closing in on spring and I need some sand. OF course I cannot find it when I need it...

Anyone know where I can get some? About 10 bags...

Thanks!

Reefstar,
I don't think anybody has Southdown in this area, it's a seasonal item, and the Home Depots haven't started receiving their spring stuff in yet. The closest Home Depots that I found in the MI/OH area that do stock Southdown is in both the Ashtabula and Erie, PA stores. Unfortunately, the Erie store is out of Southdown. I was just there on Thursday and checked. I know last fall the Kalamazoo, MI HD had Southdown, I don't know if they'll carry it again this spring or if it was just a one time deal for those stores. Your best bet is to call the stores and just keep asking. When you get a HD person on the phone, if they are in a good mood, they have the capability of checking the inventory levels of all the stores in their region, that will save you from having to call all the stores individually. Hope this helps.

Reefstar,

Here's the Home Depot SKU 578-819. Give them this number when you call. Just make sure that it says "Southdown Tropical Playsand"... not "Multipurpose sand".
