I am planning to buy a My Reef ca reactor for my 60 gal system. I am debating btwn the nano single and nano dual stage reactors. Andy says both should be fine. the single stage costs $120 and the dual costs $160. As far as I understand the dual stage can help raise the pH in the effluent. However, I read that one can just run the lower pH effluent from the single stage near the skimmer inlet to offset the lower pH.

Bottom line is I was wondering if it's worth the $40 more to get the dual stage nano reactor. Thanks.

When I ran a knop-c, really small reactor, I found adding a 2nd chamber increased the effluent dkh by ~35 % not to shabby!

But, you can always add a 2nd chamber later, it just wont be mounted on the same sheet of acrylic is all
