Hi Everybody! We bought a xenia about two weeks ago. Everything was going ok until today we woke up and he was missing? Found him under some rock. He let go of the piece of live rock he was attached to when we bought him. Now he is too light to stay put. Any suggestions as what to do to keep him in one place or to get him to attach to another piece of rock? Thank You!

hi.
The Xenia just need a low flow place for a few days when it is attaching. I sometimes use a plastic cup with a few rubbles in it for the Xenia.

A rubberband also works well to hold it down until it attaches. Wrap it just tight enough to hold it in place.

With my xenia rubber bands never seemed to work, so I started just laying it on a rock and stackign another rock on top of it to sandwich it down. It usually attaches within a couple days, and then immediately commences attaching to everything else in your tank until you're pulling out 2-3 lbs of xenia every two weeks.

I just use a plain wooden toothpick. Stick it through a piece of Xenia and into the rockwork. After a few days, the coral should be attached well enough that you can remove the toothpick. This way you can attach Xenia pretty much wherever you want without having to balance rocks or glue them together.
