Hey, I noticed little white worms on the front glass of my tank.
They are all white, approx. .5-1cm long and very very thin.
They seem to be only on the glass, mostlyon the front and
towards the top. Haven't noticed any on my shrooms, or
xenia or polyps for that matter. This is in my 6 gallon nano.
Everybody seems to be doing fine at the moment, fish and i
nverts. Sorry can't give a pic, they are too small and my
webcam isn't that good. Tried to find a similar pic from
previous posts, no luck......PlZ help. Thanks. :D

Just a guess, it could be some type of flatworm. I had something like that happen to me before. I think it may have had something to do with my old bulbs, because after I changed them they went away.

It is really hard to tell without a picture. Could be flatworms (though I have never heard of white ones myself) could be regular sand bed worms.(Pure conjecture: if they are, and are mostly at the top of the tank, check O2 levels, as they may be going toward higher O2 levels at air/water interface) Could also be the white calcerous tubes of those tiny fan worms, but these are usually spiraled in shape. I have seen some straightened out ones...

I'm pretty sure they aren't flat worms and I know they aren't tubeworms, they move way to much. I think they might be "baby" bristleworms, some of the larger ones appear to be getting a bit of segementation to them. I saw a bristleworm last week and today crawling across the glass, in the middle of the day with the lights on, brave little bugger. They don't seems to bugging anybody at the moment, so I'll just have to keep an eye on them. Any other suggestions are welcome, thanks for the posts so far.
