I had the same issue with room, everything has to be under my tank.

I purchased an aquamedic shortie 5000 which is 32" high.

Great skimmer good for the space i had also.

I am Skimmerless and sumpless. Nothing but several powerheads, A TON of live rock, a DEEP sandbed with tons of life, and a low bioload coupled with reg. water changes is the trick.

Hey got any pictures?

John i had everything under my 11ft reef tank originally, skimmer 5000 shorty, large sump !00gal+ 2ft water top up tank, and my 90 gal water change tank. the only thing which has changed is the skimmer had to go,it could'nt cope . So a 5000 twin went in it's place, but on the outside. The mrs has finally excepted it now.

Very Nice set-up Kevin.

Same goes for your Garry.

Man you guys make my 300 look like a little runt, :):):)

John--If you go with a 300g go for the 30 front to back and 24 high(I did)
Instead of the 24 front to back and 30".

That will give you 6 more inches to put your goodies underneath and also give you 6" more height for the stand.

Here is my hope to be done soon 300g
