I am thinking of getting a couple of these to go in my 75. How many can one put in a 75? I have 2 clowns and a tang in their now. Will they all get along? Where is the best place online to get them? My LFS does not get these. The tank is about 2.5 years old. No bashing about the tang in the 75 please, it has been in their for 2 of the 2.5 years and is doing great. I will move him when I feel the time comes. Thanks.

i have a school of eight in my 120 they are cool to watch allways out. i think you could add 3 or 4 depending on your filtration system, which consists of?? they are very peace full and even appear to be doing a cleaning service on my lemmon peel angel. i had some die off so watch them closely but all in all they are cool

I feel they do best if they can get a rock/cave area to call their own.

I have four in a 155g...lots of other fish in there, but most want the left side....hmmmmm

My chromis have been here about three years, and they will still seek cover at any strange disturbance.

There are 3 sps of chromis although they all look identical, they are hardy, coming from the damsel family. But you should keep a mimimum of 6, as they are a shoaling sps. They will be far happier as 6 than less, your tank will cope with that no problem  :D .

Garry,
That's a pretty cool picture!

I have a school of 7 in my 125g tank. I love the way they shimmer as they move in unison. I would put at least 3 in your 75g.

If your water params are good, I'd start with a minimum of 5. As stated, these guys can disappear or get caught up in powerheads etc. Once you have some in the tank it's really tough to add more because the residents will harass the new ones...

Also, I waited until I found some really nice small ones. Mine are shinning blue near the top of the tank (prolly because of the actinics) and bright green further down.

reef newbie, yes 18 m8. There was 20 but i have an active carpet anemone. MMMMmmmm right were do i start
1 you should'nt be putting any fish into a tank without gaurded p/h's
2 i added my chromis at differant times, and there was genuinly no aggresion at all.
3 i did'nt get this belly playing tiddlywinks, being welsh ect. I dont drink beer, i drink strongbow cider. And i would love to have a drink with any of you
4 Anyway it's not a big belly..............it's a fuel tank for a sex machine 8)
I love my chromis now, because they are getting really deep bodies. And there colours intensify as they get older, truly a most underated fish.

How much do you pay for one over the pond? We pay here about 6 or 7 quid for a small example. Speak soon GT
