Hey,
I had a condalactics that was thriving. I had had it for about 3 weeks but it was doing great. Then a couple days ago is started moving. It moved to far and got sucked into my filter intake and it was sucked between the strainer. All it's guts are floating every where now. What should I do. I have cleaned out as much as I could but there is still some. Thanks for listening.

Ahh, the wandering anemone syndrome. Just something to get used to if you keep anemones. I have a stichodactyla gigantea that moved all over the tank for about 3 or 4 months, then finally found a rock to settle down on and hasn't moved for about 3 years. So I'm lucky there I guess!

Usual reasons for anemones moving are when they're settling into a tank and looking for that 'happy spot' in terms of lighting, water flow, etc. Condys are a hit-and-miss--sometimes they base down wherever you put them, sometimes they up and move all over the tank. Sounds like you had a wanderer.

There are several possible reasons...or possibly no reason at all. Tell us a little more about your tank--size, filtration, lighting, how long it'd been up, water parameters, etc., and that might point us in the direction of a possible cause.

suck all of it out you can do a huge water change and run some good carbon and you might not loose everything in the tank. this same thing happened to my buddies 120gal reef and he lost every fish and snail and crab and shrimp. so hurry and do a thurough job.

Yep, big water changes, monitor your param's. Crank up the skimmer, too.
