Euro reef skimmers...

my father is in need of a couple decent skimmers,has no room for Aerofoamers and i'm thinking on having a couple Euro's shipped from the states,as there are no vendors here......

Es 5-2 and Es 6-1 i'm looking at...

this "eliotave" guy on Ebay sells them new for $175 and $250US

Euro reef refered me to H2otropicals.com,he is $228 and $268 but says the guy on Ebay sells refurbished and seconds,hence the lower price,any thoughts or experiances with either to share?,what do you think is the way to go?.....Thanks......Riot......

I've known plenty who've been "b" stock Euroreefs off ebay with good accounts. They usually are just a bit blemished, but 100% functional.

I love Euroreef skimmers. Not knowing the size of the tank, I'd go for the largest one you can fit. The CS-6 (I use the CS6-2 because that's the tallest that'd fit in my stand)) series is preferred over the CS-5 if you have the room.

i am going with the biggest he can fit,note they are both 20" tall models,if he could go bigger,he would have Aerofoamers like me.....

I bought mine from premiumaquatics. I don't know if I'd trust a seller on ebay who claims they're new, yet sells them for cheaper.

H20 Tropicals is a good dealer. Bought mine from there, I believe they call him The skimmerman...good person to deal with and is backed by euro reef
