I"m visiting Atlanta and would like to visit your nicest LFS. I am staying off 400 at Peachtree Dunwoody area. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thank you

There's also the Aviarium. They have some good fish there. I would go to "The Fish Store And More". Although they are a bit pricey and they tend to be a little snobby. Aquarium showcase is like a rooms to go with fish tanks. Under the wave is a nice store with good fish, but not as big as "The Fish Store and More". You could drive 40minutes to Athens and go to my store "THE PET STORE". We have a decent selection and my fish guys and I know are stuff. Mention reefs.org and I'll give you a discount. Ask for John or Glenn.

Dragoon,
If your a fish store you probably shouldn't be running down the competition in order to get people to come to your store. It is a flawed strategy that usually is ineffective IME.

Just giving my honest opinion, and did not mean any down talking. Those stores are all pretty good, some better than others. Personally I like Fish Store and More, but they do come off pretty snobby and half of them barely know what their talking about no offense. One of the guys told me that their was only one type of naso, and that thier was no such thing as marine velvet amyloodinium. Under the wave is a good store, just kinda small. Aviarium is the same, and those others i have'nt been to.

IMO Marine Fish and Cappuccino Bay both in Marietta, have a great healthy selection of corals, clams and fish (well priced). I also agree Dragoon about The Fish Store And More although they do have a great display tank.

I ditto aliendomain. Cap Bay and Marine Fish are the two best overall in my opinion, considering price and quality. Fish Store and More is good but definitely pricey, same goes for Aquarium Showcase. Under the Wave is OK at best but small with limited selection. No direct experience with Aviarium or The Pet Store in Athens, but have heard good things. Good luck and have fun!
