I got a turbelle pump....

I am flabergasted 8O . It makes my maxijets look like water pistols.... 633gph.. I am gonna add another.. maybe the big one!!!! (967gph!

I thought it was gonna be ugly with the green inlet... but it looks great....

It is fan cooled and everything. I have it hooked up to my wavemaster pro... No clicking. The motor isnt in the water...

The little fan on top is great idea too. No heat transfer......

to bad they are kinda of a pain to get.... Marine depot has them but dont have the neat controller Module. The controller allows you to set the pump at 20% -100% and has a feed timer and everything....

anyways..

u need to get one or two or three!!! :D

the mounting bracket is a little funny. I am gonna have to play with it on my day off. The lip on the AGA tanks is odd. But it works fine.

Is that Goniopora just growing on that live rock there? If so, did it come in on it?

Hi,

the size is no comparison... The Tunze is giant comparedunit motor sits out of the water. In the green inlet tube is a propellar that is driven by a cog on the motor. The outlet of the unit is submerged and can be turned 360 degrees. Then the nozzle can be further adjusted.

The maxi-jet as you know sits in the water and has only about 100 degrees of sweep with a nozzle also.

My buddy has these installed on his reef. He is getting coraline growth after 2months. he has had is maxijets in for about a year with no coraline growth.

I left my digicam at work. i will get a pict to you asap...

the turbelles are indeed sweet. i opted to go with the gemini's as they were alomt 50% the cost of the turbelle.

Do they produce alot of velocity out of the return?

I am looking for ways to get alot of current in my tank without the pounding velocity.

Ok, I've read the manufacturer's propaganda. So how's the flow in real life? What kind of flow are you experiencing?

Jim
