VHO to MH advice?

I currently have a 55 reef with 3 110 vho,s. I'd like to ugrade to something like this http://www.marinedepot.com/a_lt_mh_ht.asp?CartId= It's two 175's with two actinics, I will get the add'l fan. Will this be adequate for me? I don't want to get it and then realize I should have gotten stronger MH's. I'd like to start adding some of the high end corals that VHO just won't handle. btw the bulbs are 5500k TIA

This topic comes up alot-I would not recommend the Venture 5K bulb in 175W. It will be too yellow even w/ actinics. Venture does make a cheaper 10K bulb (~14K) which is bluer and probably wouldn't need actinics.
Next, 'high end' corals need intense quality light. If you plan on sps, look at 250W setups for your size tank. Color is a preference issue.
Lastly, there are alot of nice used items on the boards. If you can't decide on 175W or 250W, buy one of used 175W setups(most are cheap) and upgrade later. Hope this helps. Adam
