Live Rock from Marindepotlive

I've been ordering some supplies from marinedepot.com and I have been very pleased.

I now see that they are selling 44lb boxes of live "premium" Fiji rock for $149 shipped. Has anyone ever bought live rock from them and would you recommend it? I think this is a good price and I could get 88lbs of rock for my 50G tank for $300 which I think sounds like a good deal.

Yup, I've bought live rock from MD before and it went as smoothly as my dry good purchases with them. Here's my positive vote for them

I have shipped, collected, and hand picked MANY, MANY thousands of pounds of rock and know a lot of sellers in the industry. I checked these guys out and they are on the up & up. Their rock, according to my source who has bought from them says it is some of the highest quality you can get at this time, as far as "premium rock"goes. The price is reasonable.
@ 3.38+/lb.. Not too shabby where I'm from!!

I actually did not end up using mrinedepotlive because I did not like the sand options they had. I needed live sand as well. I ended up going with petwarehouse.com for the rock and sand. I have, thus far, had a great experience with this product. It was a little more expensive than the marinedepotlive option, however.

The pieces I got are large and interestingly shaped, the sand looks great (and I'm about 99% sure they sent me twice as much as I paid for). I asked them about it, but they said they shipped the right amount. There is lots of coralline algae on the rock and I'm already seeing a good bit of little critters running around. I fit all 90lbs in my 50G tank with a 5" DSB, so I just hope there's room for fish and inverts!
