I'd like to know what everyone has in their tanks, if they're 100-120 gallons. I'm going to be adding a few fish to my 110 once I transfer the reef over, and am looking for inspiration...

Peace,

Chip

I have a 120, so far it has:

Fathead anthias
Blackcap basslet
Randalls shrimp-goby
3 Apogon leptacanthus

I plan to add:

white-ray shrimp goby

some really cool small wrasse, maybe somebody has a spare white barred (mystery) wrasse they would like to give me?

and a pink skunk clown if I can find another nice purple LTA to replace my other one that went behind the rocks and never came out.

Right now I have in the 75-gallon :

purple tang
pair of ocellaris clowns
banggai cardinal
labouti fairy wrasse

I definitely know I'm adding a pair of bellus pygmy angels, but was wondering if I can add any more fairy wrasses...do they fight?

Peace,

Chip

Seems like we're in the same situation Chip. Even though you said the Grateful Dead were over-rated we can still talk. Just don't let it happen again. :) Presently have a 72 gallon and upgrading to a 110. Present inhabitants are 1 yellow tang, 1 ocellaris, 1 banggai, 1 flamehawk. Plan on adding a TR orchid dottyback and 3-5 green chromis.

In my fw cichlid tanks I use the formula of 2" per gallon. There should be a similar rough guideline for saltwater. Never seen it. I could guess at 5" per gallon. With this in mind, I have about 21 inches of fish for my 140 plus a few inverts. Anyone have a good formula for fish density versus tank volume?
