I contacted aquamedic about the flow rates. the chiller is really efficent. it doesnt need alot of flow to pull the temp down in the tank. i asked if i could put 800gph thru the chiller. they said "yes" there is no worry of bustin the heat exchanger...
i am gonna plumb the tank with a quiet one here soon. I will need to use a ball valve anyway...

The chiller I may go with is the Aqua Medic Titan 250. Its max gph is 800 lph, or 211 gph...hmm..thats a problem..may have to go to the next model..it can handle max of 528 gph.

You can just turn down the amount of water with a ball valve.

My plumbing is going to look like a crazy maze by the time I am done with it.
