Does anyone have any experience with No-Ich for treatment of oodinium or cyptocarion? It claims to be reef safe. I'd like to hear from anyone who has used this product.
I haven't used the product because the only proven cures for ich are hyposalinity and copper. Neither are suitable for use in a reef system. A quarantine/hospital tank are standard with protocol for dealing with ich in vertebrates.
I have experimented with this product and found it to be mildly effective. I did use it in the presence of some inverts, but not a full-scale reef tank and would not recommend it. You are better off removing the fish to a seperate quarantine/hospital tank as Seamaiden suggested. BTW, No-Ich is only for Cryptocaryon, not Amblyoodinium.
