one of my clowns got a bad case of ich so i removed it from my reef tank. i was wondering what i should do to my reef tank to be sure it is safe to add other fish? i don't want to add anything that could affect the health or my corals. Thanks for your help......................

ich wont affect your corals just the fish. to prevent this from happening in the future just set up a quarantine tank. let the new fish swim and play in there for a month then if they are fine you can add then into the tank. also this Q-tank will allow you to treat the ick with either hypo salinity or copper which would destroy your corals.

If you have removed all the fish from the tank, you can add new fish after thirty days which is the life cycle of ich. (It needs a fish)

Generally, 30 days isn't quite long enough. If you allow 6-8 weeks you should be golden.
