Not sure if this should go in the vendor's forum, but I wanted to be sure to let as many people know about the amazing customer service I received from Andy at IceCap and also from Marine Depot.
I purchased 2 x 250W MH setups from Ocean Encounter a couple months back...1 of the ballasts didn't light consistently. I e-mailed Andy and expressed my concerns about my SPS bleaching during the time it would take for IceCap to receive my defective ballast and for me to receive a new ballast (I'm in CA, and I thought they would be sending out from NJ).
So, Andy contacted Marine Depot (since they're local to me) and asked them to send me a brand new ballast and then asked me to send back the defective one once I had the new one hooked up!
I can't believe how easy it was to work with IceCap and I think it's awesome and beyond any reasonable protocol that Marine Depot would send me a new ballast even though I didn't buy my original one from them (only because they didn't carry the pendant I wanted)!
I am definitely a customer for life.
