are PO4 levels tht concerning when keeping soft corals. I know it adds to microalgea growth and some soft corals can utilize it, so if you don't mind the maroon and green hair algea,so be it.
PO4 levels should be kept low not just because it encourages algae growth, but it also impedes certain critical biochemical processes such as calcification. I would never recommend anyone purposesly keep a high PO4 level.
