red cotton ball algae -what eats it ? help !

i have this red cotton ball algae ....growing on everything....nothing eats it ...yellow tang...crabs etc.... any idea how to get rid of this nuisance ????

There is a rumor going around that mexican turbo's eat it, but I have no idea. My queen conch eats it occasionally.

yes, mexican turbos have done an excellent job eating all my red cotton ball algaes. bad thing about them is they can knock loose frags/corals

Ditto on the mexican turbos. Spoke to a few people personally who had horrible outbreaks of the stuff, the Mexica Turbos took care of it. I have a few of the snails as well. I have a little of the red cotton algae but it disappeard so I am assuming my mexican turbos ate it.

I increased the flow in my tank and it went away on its own.
