Anyone have suggestions for food, other than live or fresh?

So far, mine has been doing well with frozen mysis shrimp, frozen brine shrimp and frozen bloodworms, and zooplankton. Looking for something else either dried or frozen to add.

Thanks.

This does not fall in what you wanted but I thought I would throw it out there for you. I heard a guy say he went to the LFS find coral he could not save buy it for little $$ and put it in the tank for the fish to graze on. In the long run probably costly and not needed but for a snack, just a idea.

brine shrimp have no nutritional value whatsoever, and you are better to feed PE mysis. Mine also attacks homemade food. :)

one of the mainstays here at the store is live blackworms-fairly nutritious, and optimally sized/shaped for the butterfly's mouth-the wriggling of the worm also works as a great 'enticer' for many 'finnicky' fish

(not that the copperband is finicky at all-they are fairly aggresive eaters)

Try the fresh seafood section at your local grocery store.

chopped white meat fish
chopped fresh clams
chopped fresh uncooked and shelled shrimp/prawns
chopped fresh scallops (make sure they are real and not imitation)

These are some of the things I feed. You might try any of it to give your fish a variety.

You might also try a vitamin additive like Selcon.
