Tony. Looking beautiful. Great job from start to finish (although it's never really finished  ).
1)Did you paint your wall black or is it just a camera exposure thing? If black wall I love the effect.
2) Still got your Kole tang?

thanks guys, but like mogo says it's never complete :D .

mogo to answer youre question, the backround is black and starting to grow coraline algae on it plus the 400 watt radiums give it that dark blue affect.

and yes i still have the kole tang and doing great, constently eating algae. also a 3'' yellow tang, 4'' purple tang ,5'' red sea sail fin tang and one anthias and plan on adding about 10 more in the near future .

im debating on getting rid of my clams and giving a adult emperator 7'' a try wich will be the last fish i mite add after the anthias go in but will seewhat happends with that idea.

since im so busy with work and family i havent had the time to do a water change yet , but the 100 gallon rubbermaid stock tanks are ready to go, after years of keeping saltwater tanks, this is the first time i have to change a 100 gallons in one shot :) out of a 400 gallon plus system, wish me luck. 8O

Tony:

I've been meaning to get a hold of you, but I lost your number. Do you still want the CO2 bottle? I would love to come by and see the tank finally. This week is great for me just about anytime. Please let me know.

Very nice setup

How do you like your sump setup?

I am thinking of making one exactly like it although smaller, maybe 40 gallons, sometime this next year.

Any problems you have had with the setup in the sump?

Thanks

Bryan

knucklehead, the sump has worked out fine so far even with the tons of micro bubbles coming in , they never make it out to the tmain tank due to the baffles.

Boy I can't wait to see this tank after the corals have had a few years to grow.

Looks like an outstanding beginning to a wonderful reef.

I need to pick up the pace on the 300 I am doing. Maybe I'll figure out a way to make mine a 360 :P

Question- how did you get coraline growing so quickly? My tank has been up a month less than yours and I am still going through all the algae cycles.

ernie im also going thru some algae cycles myself, but keep in mind most of the corals and all of the live rock came from my old 150 gallon reef tank , wich was up and running for two years.

Man very nice setup the closed loop is a excellent idea! I wish I had the skills (and tools) to start moving some wall around in my house!
