Anyone have experience of a Neopetrolisthes hosting in anything other than an anemone? I would like to put one in a large corallimorphian, but I'm unsure it will work. There are no aggressive fish or anything in the tank, just a goby and firefish. What do you think?

Thanks for the reply. I used to have two cleaner shrimp with a bunch of these shrooms, and they never closed up when they walked on them. I'm hoping it works.

I have one that lives in a a big stalk of xenia. This was wild caught xenia and the stalk is very thick (unlike my captive raised). It really resembles a anemone.
