I have a frilly polyped two headed toadstool that is attached to three rocks. I'll be breaking the tank down soon and will need to seperate them. Will it kill the coral if I seperate it at teh base?
check out the comments for fragging a soft coral. If done properly (using a sharp blade, etc.), and given good conditions, you probably end up with three corals after the move.
