San Diego reef shops?

I will be in San Diego on Friday and Monday and I was wondering if there were any worthwhile reef shops to go to.

Try these places:

1. Aquatic Warehouse, usually great selection of LPS ans SPS with some hard stuff

2. The Octopuss' Garden.

3. Tri-City Tropical Fish

There are a lot of places up in LA, like Marine Depot, etc...

Aquatic warehouse is a MUST to stop by. Kinda hard to find though.

It's in a small shopping center west of the costco on the 78. There's a Tweeter in the same area. I think it's off of Hacienda drive.

There's also a coldwell banker right by it. It's in the yellow pages.

That's all I can remember sitting here in DC

It's either Carlsbad or Oceanside. It's right in between them on the 78 connecter. I think it's right by Emerald drive. Do a yahoo maps search.

Thanks for the info..is that store worth the trip? Did you hit the Encinitas Tropicals in Encinitas?

I second Aquatic Warehouse and Octopuss' Garden, both are about 5min from each other...

Yep, did the encinitas thing. They rarely caried alot in stock, rather would order for you. Hell I can "order" myself...you know the gig. There is a great little hole-in-the-wall greek restaurant in the same plaza. They have awesome dolmedakia. The daughters are kinda smokin as well.

Overall, my best bid goes for the aquatic warehouse, although the staff is a bit luded out.
