Looking for good RO/DI unit

I'm looking to finally buy a RO/DI unit. I even went so far as to put a utility sink in the laundry/sump room for my wife. OK for me and my wife not just for the RO/DI :wink:

Im looking for a 100gpd. I came up with three choices
1. AquaFX 4stage Barracuda
2. Airwaterice 5stage TyphoonIII
3. Aquatice Reef systems 4stage Oceanus

Im leaning towards the Barracuda because of June's Powerbuy and built in TDS meter.
But I would like to hear of anybodys experiences or points on any of these.

I personally like my SpectraPure unit but I also think the AquaFX unit would be fine too. When you do buy one, make sure to get the TDS meter and the flush kit. The flush kit is used to flush your RO membrane and is reported to help significantly increase the life span of your membrane.

We have been real happy with our Typhoon III from airwaterice.com. Walter is real helpful if you ever need him.

i use a kent marine rodi hi-s and i like it a lot. someone has told me that they are really all the same, just about.

I'm really happy with my Aqua FX 4 stage. However, I have low water pressure, and had to change out the carbon block for another pre-filter. It's been running for two years, and I Don't have a single complaint with it at all.

Aqua FX even offered me a great deal on a booster pump when they heard I had low pressure!

Thx for everybodies input.
Im still undecided :lol: But its good not to have heard any negative feedback on the 3 choices I eliminated it to.
I need to make up my mind soon though :roll: Ive got to do a 50% water change with some good RO/DI before the hair algae and cyna take a good foot hold on my tank.

I was probably one of the first people to get an AquaFX Barracudda.

It still rocks after a few years.

Their customer service is good too.
