connecting ball valve to flex hose

How do i connect a ball valve to my flex. I would like a valve for both my return and intake. also, what are appropriate types of flex pipe to use. thanks in advance.

Its part 235 just glues the flex straight to the ball joint fitting like glueing regular PVC.

I like flexable PVC because it gives the plumbing a nice and neat appearance. It also has the advantages of hard PVC in that it is not translucent so you won't get algae growth on the inside. Any harware or plumbing shop will have an array of PVC parts that you need. If you can wait I would order it on line as it is slightly cheaper and has a larger assortment.

I would be careful putting a valve on flex hose ,turn the valve applies pressure ,when the ball valve gets full of calcium it will be harder to turn

or make sure you strap down the pipes so it will hold the pipes when turning the valve.

also make sure you prime both the fitting and the hose before appling the pvc glue
