Hey

Was at my LFS the other day, which I find myself doing for absolutely no reason whenever Im in a 50 mile radius of the place. They had these cool ribbon eels. I've never even considered an eel thinking most to be too large for my 45 gallon setup but these guys are tiny.

Any chance he'd be happy in a 45 gallon hex? If anyone had any web links for ribbon eels and their care in home aquariums, I would appreciate it

No,
Different genus even.

They are not very easy to keep either, but a little more so than the blue ribbons.

BTW, blue ribbons are not impossible to keep as some say. They just require a dedicated tank setup with a very tight fitting top ( almost airtight ) and no fish competitors. Doesn't sound like most reef tanks, does it?
