Hi everybody, a month ago i set up a C/R model CR-6 dual from www.myreefcreations.com on my 125g tank, after that i have a lot of corallin growth on my tank, but now the corallin is out of control and my SPS looks more healthy. When i set up this unit i scrapp off all the corallin algea on the back glass of my tank and take a look how it growth on one month. I keep the CA of my reef always in 450 ppm without problems. Thanks Andy for work for us. Ralphyhp

My Ca reactor recently went off-line and I've been too lazy to replace the media in it. Since then, my coralline on the glass has completely died off.

Nice coralline, even nicer SPS. Have you noticed much difference in the growth rates yet? I noticed that you have quite a few frags.

Thanks guys, Len sorry to heard that, Laura no growth at all, but the color on my frags looks better. Its time to change bulbs. I let you know about growth rates after that. Mountainbiker go for it, im in the hobby for about 15 years and never use a C/R and now i cant change it for nothing. I hate to drip Kalkwasser all days but now i dont have to. Im very happy with this C/R. Ralphyhp

8O I don't have a calcium reactor, and I've alway had coraline covering the back walls of my tanks.
Len, are you dosing anything to take up the slack?

Thank you Andy, i still have in mind the skimmer, but first i have in mind a lightnin project. Jim i always have corallin without a C/R too. IMO, nobody need a C/R to keep coralline growth on their tank; just good Calcium and alkalinity parameters and good lightnin too, but when you keep SPS or LPS the calcium demand are bigger and you need to have in mind a good C/R or be a slave of the Kalkwasser or calcium products.
