I have this algea growing on my rock it is a short version of hair algea except that it's not green but it's not brown and or blue it's sort of white brown and fuzzy. It's been growing for about week I have checked my water for just about everything. My SG is 1.024, temp 78, Calcium 440ppm (salifert) Alk 9 DKH (salifert) Nitrate "0" (Lamotte)Phosphate <.1 (salifert) my water flow is around 1600ph my lights are timed to go on at 9:30am for the Atinics 10:30 for the first Halide 11:30 for the second set of Halides which go off for an hour at 2:30 and they go off starting at 7:30 and finish at 9:00pm. I really have no clue as to what type of algea this is and I have been searching the web and threads to find out Perhaps someone has some insight to share it would certainly be appreciated. As far as the load on the tank. The tank will be 10 weeks old on thursday I have one of each a lawnmower Blenny, percula, Xenia, Candycane, Goniopora, Toadstool, and a couple of feather dusters. I went through my algea cycle at about 4 weeks put in my clean up crew and it was gone now this stuff started growing, it's mostly on my rock and on the parts of it without Coralline

Yeah I know I'm kind of pushing it oh just a tad. Yes I have an RO/DI unit and I've been doing weekly water changes. The Goniopora well I was kind of mislead by my LFS and I did the research after I bought it Now I'm going to try and make it comfortable for as long as I can The other inhabitants in my tank all seem to be pretty happy. My Xenia has almost doubled it's size and I do have Coralline growing on my glass.
