Durso Drain

I'm thinking of installing a durso standpipe but I'm wondering about the drain from the bulkhead fitting to my sump. The standpipe should be 1 1/4" to the 1" bulkhead but do I make it 1 1/4" from the bulkhead to the sump or is my existing 1" stuff ok?

Lofus (Isn't that Hungarian?!),

1" should be fine. Expanding the drain topside allows for more flow/ventillation.

We've installed Dursos this way.

Thanks! I think I will still have to make some mods to the undertank drain only because it is glued in place.

yup concur - 1" from the bulkhead to the sump is fine.
