I will be relocating to El Paso, TX in about 7 weeks and was wondering if there are any clubs / hobbyists in El Paso who post to or read at reefs.org... I have a 125 reef with calcium reactor, protein skimmer, which houses quite a bit of sps and some other softies... I will be moving this tank and hopefully leaving most of the animals under the care of some friends in Lubbock until the tank is back up and reasonably healthy... anyway, just curious about other hobbyists to trade with and perhaps use as a way station briefly (in return for pieces of corals...)

Hey Craig, MAAST has a few members who are *from* El Paso.... I don't think we have any who actually live there now though.... but you could be the first ;)

I've seen a few people on RC from El Paso... I go over there once a year or so as my g/f has family there. 8)

Craig,
Here you go! Good luck with the move. I started my 1st reef out in the Hub City when I was going to Tech about 4 yrs ago. Just being nosey, but are you doing a medical internship in El Paso?

Here is the logo. I thought it was pretty cool.

Yes, I will be doing Anesthesiology Residency through Texas Tech El Paso... Thanks for the info!

I was also hoping to catch someone who actually lives in El Paso to send a reply or PM...

I may need a little help on the move... as far as a way station or something... things are looking good here in Lubbock, it is a shame I have to tear it all down and suffer for 2-6 months right after I get there!!

Anesthesiology huh? Wow, that's cool. I kinda figured you might be a med student. I had a couple of buddies that went to TTU Med school and they all went to El Paso for their residency. One is still out there. Look for a guy named Toby with red hair, white jacket and stethoscope. Nice guy. :)

Good luck on the move. You might try contacting the number below to see if they could help you out. I pulled it off the Elpmas website. Sorry that's all I got.
