I am SOOOO angry.
I added a few left handed hermits to my tank last year when we moved the tank to our new house. They were really aggressive so I evicted all of them but one. the kids thought he was so small and cute, and they really wanted to keep him...
Now a year later he is big, mean, takes food from my corals, keeps throwing my sun coral off the rocks and today grabbed my peppermint shrimp by the tail as the shrimp scooted by and killed him. By the time I got something in the tank to separate Lefty from the peppermint it was too late. I kicked him out of the way with my algae scraper to remove the dead peppermint but he grabbed the peppermint and ran for the rocks!
I think I'm going hermit hunting!
