Will ozonizer kill free-swimming stage of Crypto and Velvet?

I'm thinking about adding zn ozonizer and running it at 3-5mg per 10gallons of water.
I wonder how effective is ozonizer at killing the free-swimming stage of marine Ich (Crypto) and marine velvet larvae?
Would UV light be more effective?

UV should be more effective, but as long as there are fish (host) in the tank, ich will not be eliminated due to either of these methods alone...

A followup:

a) why would UV be more effective? I've read that ozone is a much more potent germicide.... no?
b) Alos, why wouldn't it elliminate Ich if there were fish in the tank? If I look at copper, it also kills the free swimming larvae, right? Yet it will kill the Crypto even if there are fish in the tank... wouldn't that ozone do the same? I mean, if the free larvae are killed, then they will not be attaching to fish and not multiplying, no?

My personal experience is that when properly used both ozone and UV are helpful against cryptocaryon and oodinium.

Neither of these will eradicate pathogens from a system like copper (which is poor against oodimium) will.

Ozone may be more beneficial than UV because of the other affects it has on water quality.

They can both be useful, neither is likely to effect a complete cure, but ozone is probably more effective. Wilkie and Gordon (1969) reported that they were able to prevent the infestation of fish placed into an infected aquarium for 21 days with the use of ozone. Unfortunately, this was before the lifecycle of Cryptocaryon was completely understood (the tomont stage can last for up to 28 days), so it is not conclusive proof.
