Sorry to Butt in. I like Ushio 10k, but you guys say how white it is and yet my experince is that from Day one it is alway yellow to me. But I still like them.

How about some natural light in the form of SolaTubes or a similar product? I would suggest getting every ounce of light possible into that tank if you're going for predominantly SPS.

I was hoping to get more discussion on the use of double ended HQI from those who swtiched and replaced the 400W MW with 250HQI; especially in larger tank setups with dept > than 28 inches
