hi guys,
ive found a product that raises ph but it dosint raise your kh,my kh is 14.5,ph8.0morning 8.1 evening,iam going to perform 10 gal of ro today to bring my kh back in line.
my problem was my ph was dropping after every water change,buffers raised my ph but also raised my kh,i tried dripping kalkwasser but again it raised my kh,this was all driving me mad,i tried adding an air stone thinking it was co2 building up but that add no effect.
my lfs was running out of ideas they said do big wc to bring your kh down,which will then allow u to add buffer ,i did that but still my ph was falling,i decided to telephone kent usa telling them of my problem,they was very good,he said use kent ph plus and thats your problem solved it will bring your ph up and it dosint effect your alk.
so after all the wc ive done and crap advice from my lfs my problem was solved in one phone call.
ps why did lfs not tell me about this product they have been selling it fora good while.
