Tricks for feeding?

Does anyone have a trick that will help me get my Kole tang to eat. For the last week he's been dining on hair algea along with his little buddy Lenny the Lawnmower Blenny (kids named it) Right now I'm trying to get him to eat Nori banded to a piece of rubble and sitting on the live rock. The Blenny goes nuts on it as soon as I put it in the tank he goes on the hunt to find it,even the emerald crabs bring thier knifes and forks But not the tang he'll swim up to it and take a look even took a peck at it but won't eat it. So if ya got a trick up your sleeve to help me out I would certainly appreciate it.

Try feeding him some formula1 or formula2. Mine eats it in a snap.

If he still wont eat get Kent Marine GarlicX. If that wont get him to eat nothing will.

i use Sally's seaweed salad for my yellow tang and he goes nuts over, takes it right from my hand before i can get in the clip. my tomatos and coral beauty love it too but have to use a seperate clip for themm cause the tang chases them away from "his" salad(not good at sharing his food with others).

Thanks for the input this kid is just being a bit of a pain right now He's still a bit shy I've had him for a week and right now he's just picking at the rock and the entire clean up crew did a heck of a job on the rock and everything else as far as that goes. My tank is 6 weeks young today and I'm working on balancing my Alk and Calcium right now as well. So I guess I went through the "blooms" and am now ready to go to work on the rest of the system. But I don't want to lose this fish. Where can I find Sally's salad never heard of it before and I'm going to try the Garlic Xtreme and see if that gets him to eat. Again Thanks for the help

most online aquarium supply sites have it or try your LFS, if they don't have it in stock they should be able to order it for you. it,s made by San Francisco Bay Company. Good luck and keep us posted.
