I have been looking for a PVC U-Tube for awhile and haven't come up with anything, until today. I want this for my return line to go over the tank and back in without having to use 90's, 45's, barb fittings, or flexible tubing and it would attach to PVC pipe via a coupling. This would reduce head loss, which I think no one would have a problem with.

So basically i'm wondering who would have an interest in something like this? I'm waiting to hear back from a place that makes them, seeing about pricing and all. I'm getting a price on a 3/4" U-Tube with these dimensions (see attached pic).

Thanks.

If you're willing to use 1.5" or 2.0" PVC pipe rather than 3/4" (e.g. one heck of a big siphon  ), you can use a standard plumbing U-trap!

That a good hint, Hy.

In addition, it is relatively easy to use acrylic tub and bent it after baking it (in very low temp.) with a spring inside (so that the tube won't collapse).

if you don't have a spring you can fill it up with sand.

eheim canister filters have these u-returns. you can order them as spares.
