It's a bit difficult to treat without being more assured that what you're dealing with is bacterial, but yes, for bacterial infection I prefer Spectragram. Be certain to treat him only in a bare hospital tank, and plan on daily water changes. Also, I suggest reading up on Regals, as they are a picky sort to feed and require a good variety of foodstuffs to help ensure best nutrition (nutrition's going to go a long way towards helping this fish help himself).
