Any advice, testimonies or a better brand of Skimmer would be great, thanks in advance,Ralphyhp :wink.

I have a couple of ETS skimmers. The taller models are more efficient that the stubby versions. Given a choice in your price/power range, I'd choose the 900 model. IMO, it's a much better performer.

Greg i choosed the 800 model because it can fit under my stand. Can i have to believe that it perform the same of a larger model or is better to get the 900 model an mount it out of the stand. Thanks, Ralphyhp.

By their nature, the taller downdraft skimmers are more efficient than the stubby versions. The 900 is a MUCH better choice than the 800, and it's less expensive! Perhaps you can place it behind the aquarium. That's what I did with the 1000 model and it isn't that obtrusive.

try this! I just moved my skimmer around and did some "cleaning up in the sump". Well I replaced the small bio balls with larger ones and WOW did it change the output of the waste! I am sure others have done the same thing but I have not read that before. HTH

I got the New Reefdevil, and I love it. My setup its on is new with nothing but a few frags in and its still pulling yucky brown stuff out, but it will pull motor oil looking junk with more load. Here is a pic.

Yesterday i set up my 600 ETSS skimmer and it rocks. After 1/2 hour it start to fomming a lot of stuff out of my tank. I cant imagine when it kick in.
Im having a minor leaking problem at the injector assembly. Did anybody have before this problem. The injector assembly is a push in part and im running a Mack4 pump with this skimmer, i put some teflon tape on this part to eliminate the leak (1 drop any 3 min.) but it looks that the pressure is too much.

Here a pic. of the skimmer half hour later it was set up.
