What are the differences between these?
What are the benefits of choosing one over another?
55W 6700K White PowerCompact Bulb
65W 8800K White PowerCompact Bulb
65W 10000K White PowerCompact Bulb
Also where is the best place to buy lighting of this type and a fairly inexpensive cost?

Go to hellolights.com they are very inexpensive and have great service. I would go with 10k bulbs and 03actinics. the 10k mirror midday sun. and work very well for reef tanks. if fish only then you can go down to the lower ones.

Hellolights has great prices. I've found good prices at Marine Depot as well. Truth is, I think PC lights are pretty cheap everywhere now.

I'd go with 10K too. The ratings basically tell you the correlated color temperature and the higher it is, the more crisp blue/white it is. 6700 has more emphasis on the yellow end of the spectrum and usually has a very slight yellow cast when you shine it on a pure white reflective material. 10000 has more emphasis on the blue and will give you an "ice" white appearance.

Just a FYI, there is no difference between 55W and 65W lamps.

Personally, I really don't like the 10,000K compacts; unless you are pairing them with an actinic.

I will be using them with actinics, i have a custom sealife 48" ABS lighting system , just its time to change out the bulbs, it has 6700k in it now, and i am just trying to figure out what would be the best to get as replacments
