Hello, what fish foods do you prefer to feed your fish (example: mysis, krill, cyclops, formula one/two, etc) and in what form (example: frozen, flake, freeze-dried, etc)?

Do you purchase your foods online or from store fronts?

Thanks to everyone who answers, hopefully everyone will :)

So far I've been feeding freeze dried plankton and marine flakes. I've only had a damsel and a firefish to date, both liked both foods. Once a week I throw a couple of small pieces of raw scallop in the tank for my emerald crabs and brittle star. As the crabs rip up the meat little bits float up into the water column and the fish eat those too.

Shipping evens out when you order in larger quantities plus provides an easier means of maintaining food stocks that lfs usually don't carry.

In addition to the original questions, do you prefer to shop by brand name or rather what the product contains/made up of?
