I have a 20 gallon high tank I set up recently, im using Catalina natural seawater and distilled for topoffs, a Prizm skimmer (collects alot of gunk so far), Penguin 550 powerhead, and empty Aquaclear 150 for flow, 100W RENA heater.
Its currently cycling with 35 pounds live sand and 25 pounds Fiji cured live rock.

My plans are to add 2 false perc clowns and a cleanup crew consisting of snails, hermits, a pair of cleaner shrimp and an emerald crab. My question is, if I add a Royal Gramma to this and stop there, will this be overstocking? Or will it be OK? I like the grammas alot.

Keep in mind, due to the price of the seawater, I'm doing 25% (5 gallon) monthly changes on the tank. I told my dad about the RO unit but he wanted to do this instead....

thanks! :)

NO...IMO...i have a 20gal with a mandarin fish, A. Clarkii (clark clown), fire fish, catalina goby, yellow tail damsel, Coral Banded shrimp, peppermint shrimp, several differnt corals, Condy anemone, short spined urchin...and my clean up crew...so since i really dont have any bio issues other than algae, i dont see adding a gramma being an overstocking problem...My tank would be considered "overstocked" probably...i have good skimming good water flow and good cleaning....
