A CHEAP CYNO SUCKER!!!!

All you have to do is go to your local pharmacy and ask for a 5ml infant medicine dropper. Most will give it to you for free. Then just use it to directly suck up all the cyno. It works alright on hair algae too. I found it easier then using a vacuum because it sucks up a good amount and only 5ml of water, so no need to aid water right away.

Sounds interesting. How do you use it/it actuly pulls it off?

I'm interested since I want to control my cyano/hair before it spreads.

You can also do the samething with a turkey baster, just on a larger scale.

I just got rid of mine by cutting some bristles off a paint brush. They were about 1-1/4" long. I wrapped arranged them around a piece of 3/8" hose so they hung over the end about 3/4" and attached them with a cable tie.
I started a siphon and brushed all the stuff off and it was sucked into the hose. Worked great

I use a airline hose to siphon the cyno. This is a very good method for sucking up cyno with little waste water.
