I currently have a 440 watt VHO system over my 75 gallon reef, and I'm thinking about adding 2 175watt metal halides to it. Would 4 110watt actinic blue VHO's along with 2 175watt 6500k metal halides look good?
Also, which metal halide ballast would you recommend for 2 175w metal halides? I'm trying to save as much money as possible, but want a good ballast. I would like to buy a retrofit kit, but don't need the reflector that comes with most of them. Are the PFO ballasts any good? Which brand metal halide lamp should I go with? Is the 175watt 6500k Iwasaki lamp any good? Thanks
