Nano-reef.com worst experience ever

I have had the worst experience and witnessed the poorest in professionalism by moderators ever at this site..i have never under gone such crap on a message board, its more like a dissing chat room...i may have not made the best livestock choices for my tank? but christ all mighty..here some called me an ******* and hopes i die cause i have a catalina goby..perhaps my water temp is a little high for it but ive had it for nearly a year...i know some of you here venture there...But no more...and for those of you who are gonna go back and tell the rest of most of those losers what ive said, then go do it...sorry but that is crap talk about feeling unwelcomed..BTW everyone over there is perfect..sounds like a damn walgreens commercial...so theres my venting..for some wierd reason i cant post pix there so i catch alot of flak for that too, im an imcompotent loser for that? :?

Lets put it this way im not ever going back there..no skin off their noses or mine...ive never seen so many A-holes...like i said the Moderating is piss poor..even the moderators took some turns in a way bagging on me...whatever...Unprofessional IMO

i think they were just busting your chops at one point. at another point some of people went overboard.

it is a 'wilder' (imo) place for thicker skins but if your sense of humor can withstand the initial assault you'll be fine. problem is that most people don't survive the initial assault. d'oh!

btw, i apologize for not reading both threads/whole story before i commented. it's there in my post anyways but just in case you really never go back you deserve to hear it.

Why do you have a problem with people who are passionate about the environment? To me nothing is worse than ignorance. There is no excuse.

Nothing is worse than being made to feel like a fool when you are tryign to learn. You can take the smartest person and make them look like a fool if you pick your subject right. That doesn't make you smart.

That's funny, I've always read it as "tan girl", not "tang ir1". Just a cognitive process that we have little conscious control over.

I don't like nano-reef.com. And I don't like people who keep animals in tanks unsuited to their needs.

investigator1 only perfect people say ignorance is no excuse..we all make mistakes..besides i dont see what enviromental issues i raised in that discussion??...anyways i wasnt over exaggerating..i can take a joke, but i dont know anybody in there and ill tell you thats not really fair to bash on someone like that...what angers me is the lack of moderating...anyways oh well not going back..Hwarang yes i would rather go back to Reefcentral vs Nano-suck.com..i went to the lions den that day and got eaten alive! I was in the Marines, i can take anything you throw at me, but ill leave that place, i had very little back up and even a moderator was kinda putting me down, so what was i supposed to do....??? Chris i missed your posts, they edited them...you should of seen mine reply they took it out (about time) too...

I figured as much, kinda funny how they edit ours but not the a-holes that were actually bashing. Must have been the mod that was in on the action.

Oh well, I hope they never meet you or me face to face, we will have to show them what happens when the Navy and Marines mobilize, they will learn the meaning of the word fear. :wink:

Matt, not after the first two posts when I get the username for fun, with her avatar and sig line and whole nine yards. Afterward, I honestly tried very hard not to make any connection with the missing RDOTF Goddess, and I even stayed away from The Sump for a few weeks... I guess all my hard works did not pay off.
