Hi there everyone!

I have been a lurker for some time now and would like to come out of the woodworks and say "hi!". I enjoy the lively discussions here and the level of friendliness, patience and tolerance shown by the mods here compared to many other boards that I visit. Kudos to you!

Oh, I'm from Singapore (bet there will be some of you who will go "huh? Where's that?"

Have a nice day y'all ... its 3.22am where I am now!

Here's a shot of my tank!

Good morning! :)

It's a reflection shot... so unless my camera's wonkers.... it should be accurate how the images line up! It's taken by going low, close to the sandbed, with water circulation completely turned off till the water's still.... and then 'snap!'

Here's the right 'reflected' view.

Ready for the full front view? Sorry if it's too big. :)

My tank is approximately 5.5ft long, 3ft wide and 2.4ft deep. Using 4 x 400watts of MH lighting.

Here's an inside-tank view of the right side of my tank, yeah, you heard me right!

I put my Ikelite underwater housing for my Canon G2 camera inside and took this shot! :)

Nice shots! Did you see the camera-related forums in RDO? You may want to check it out and possibly post some pics there. We even have photo contests with prizes!

It is very difficult to judge an actual reflection photo from an edited one, but I can brag that I am pretty good in doing it even if the photographer is very ingenious. :D

WOW

I guess the best compliment you can give is to say the pic is a fake. I thought it was too. Very, very, nice tank. Please stick around and post lots.

Hi everyone! Thanks for the kind compliments! :)

t gallo: Ermmm... its not fake, it's a reflection shot as explained.

reefann: I have a Koralline calcium reactor, recently upgraded from C1502 to a DIY C10002. (It stands at 1m tall, 8 inch diameter, with A.R.M. media).

With my undersized C1502, I was dosing so much kalkwasser, calcium chloride, Reef Builder on a daily basis that I had major calcium buildup in my pipings and inside my Iwaki MX-70 pump and my DIY Aerofoamer 648 beckett skimmer.

investigator1: I take that as a compliment! :P
