To start with, I'm upgrading to a tank which is 150 gallons (60"x24"x24") aquarium and have some questions about stocking the tank. The tank will contain over 300lbs of livesand (which makes a 4-5" sandbed), 200lbs of liverock, and will have a 170 gallon sump (included is an 80 gallon refugium which makes 320 gallons of water volume). The tank is also going to be SPS (Acroporid) dominated.
My questions are this:
1. Within the next month I am going to be picking up 4x Purple Queen Anthias (1 male, 3 female) from a local reefer who has had these fish for awhile now. I'm curious if I would also be able to house 6-9 Bartletts anthias (1 male and 5-8 females) with this small school of purple queens? Would there be much agression?
2. I've heard a lot of oposing opinions about adding a school of chromis with anthias. I was planning on having a school of about 7-10 Blue green chromis with the anthias. Would this be possible?
Any advice is welcome.
