I've had most of these corals for over a year.
corals doing well and growing: Torch, Mushrooms, Fox, green, brown, and yellow Star polyps, Trumpet, Zooanthids.

Corals not doing well:
Anthelia (been shrinking for some time, past 7 months or so)

Goniopora (Has not been expanding as well the last couple of months. It keeps expanding at night lately?)

Aveopora (lately has only been showing the polyp heads, no expansion beyond the base)

My 55g has new (6 month replacement schedule) pc's 220w.
I drip dose lime water, sometimes I use the vinegar formula.
I have 20g DSB sump. 80 - 100 lbs live rock. 4 medium fish (all well for 2 years)
temp: constant 80d
Salinity: 1.025
Alkalinity: 9.3
CA: 440 ppm
PH: 8.2
Nitrate, Ammonia, Nitrite: non-detected
Using Salifert tests.

Actually all my corals except for the Aveopora are expanding at night (no lights)
I don't know if I should supplement anything, I ocassionally use half the dose of Julian sprungs "sea elements"
About the same time these problems started occuring, the top 1/3 of my LR turned from deep red to whiteish?
Any Ideas

not sure about the others, but goniapora has a poor survival history. They tend to starve over several months. Borneman has a good discussion in Aquarium Corals. That would be a good addition to your library. Likely you'll find answers to your other questions as well. It's pretty thorough.

hope things turn around for you,
