I bought this scroll coral two weeks ago

shoebox.msnw

I have yet to see any polyp extension. Can anyone give me some advice. Ive heard these like current, I have a 90G with a mag 12 for a return and a T4 for a closed loop, there is no mucus build up, however there is no current pointing right at it.

I have 2 250W 10K and Vho's and the coral is about 6 inches from the top of the water like so

check coral at night. Most scroll will extends better at night. In addition, don't be too concern about this polyp extension issue (must be a "guy" think ;)). Some coral are just more pickly about how far to come out. Generally, the more nutrient, the better the extension, but then you will run into other problem if you are not careful.

I have yet to convence by the use of Iodine on soft coral...

What's your calcium level at? Do you have a Calcium reactor. Sometimes lack of extension on polyps is from low calcium. Usually Kalkwasser dripping isn't enough. IMHO
